VMA-Getzmann TORUSMILL® TML5 Basket Mill
The VMA-Getzmann TORUSMILL® TML5 basket mill is a modular basket mill system for laboratory and pilot plant applications, designed to convert a DISPERMAT® dissolver into an efficient batch bead milling system. With its quick-change system concept, users can perform both pre-dispersion and fine grinding on one machine platform without requiring a separate milling unit.
The TORUSMILL® TML5 operates based on the immersion basket mill principle, where grinding beads inside the basket are used to deliver stable, fast, and consistent fine grinding results. The integral impeller pumping wheel helps activate the beads and circulate the millbase through the basket, allowing the milling process to run more effectively and achieve a more uniform particle size distribution.
The TORUSMILL® TML5 basket mill has a product range of 2.5 - 11 litres, making it suitable for laboratory testing, research and development, quality control, and pilot plant applications with larger process volume requirements compared to the TML05 and TML1. This product is ideal for fine grinding pigments, coatings, inks, chemicals, cosmetics, ceramics, and other materials requiring fine, repeatable, and efficient milling results.
