Processing high-viscosity materials requires robust drive systems, specialized mixing geometries, and often scraper technology to continuously wipe container walls and prevent dead zones. VMA-Getzmann offers two primary solutions: the modular ASC scraper system for existing DISPERMAT® dissolvers, and the DISPERMAT® LH twin-shaft vacuum dissolver for dedicated high-viscosity applications.

ASC Modular Scraper System – For Existing DISPERMAT® Dissolvers
The ASC scraper system is a modular attachment for DISPERMAT® laboratory dissolvers, enabling efficient dispersion of high-viscosity and non-flowing substances. The integrated spring-pressure scraper arm continuously wipes the container wall, ensuring that product is reliably conveyed toward the container center — eliminating dead zones and ensuring complete mixing and heat transfer. Processing volume 0.35-3.5 liters. Compatible with DISPERMAT® LC, CN, CA, and AE series dissolvers. Ideal for pastes, sealants, putties, and highly viscous formulations that would otherwise stick to container walls. The scraper arms are exchangeable for different container sizes.

DISPERMAT® LH – Twin-Shaft Vacuum Dissolver for High Viscosity Products
The DISPERMAT® LH is a dedicated twin-shaft vacuum dispersion system consisting of a high-speed laboratory disperser and an integrated three-blade butterfly stirrer. The interaction of these two dispersion processes enables efficient mixing and dispersion of substances with high viscosity and higher yield point. Powder products can be dispersed directly into highly viscous and non-flowing substances. Power 3-4 kW, processing volume 4-14 liters, speeds up to 1,500 rpm. Features include vacuum capability for bubble-free processing, electric height adjustment, and safety device per EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG.
