The VMA-Getzmann TORUSMILL® TML05 basket mill is a modular basket mill system for laboratory and pilot plant applications, designed to convert a DISPERMAT® dissolver into an efficient batch bead milling system. With its quick-change system concept, users can quickly replace the dissolver shaft with the basket mill accessory, allowing pre-dispersion and fine grinding processes to be performed more flexibly on one machine platform.
The TORUSMILL® TML05 operates based on the immersion basket mill principle, where grinding beads inside the basket are activated to create an effective fine grinding process. The integral impeller pumping wheel agitates the beads and circulates the millbase through the basket, supporting stable, fast, and consistent milling performance. This system is suitable for small-scale formulations that require process efficiency, easy handling, and repeatable particle size distribution.
The TORUSMILL® TML05 basket mill has a product range of 0.25 - 1.4 litres, making it ideal for laboratory testing, research and development, quality control, and small pilot plant applications. This product is suitable for fine grinding pigments, coatings, inks, chemicals, cosmetics, ceramics, and other materials requiring flexible small-scale fine milling.
