PosiTest AT is a pull-off adhesion tester used to measure the adhesion strength of coatings, paints, and protective layers on rigid substrates such as metal, wood, concrete, and other industrial materials. This instrument helps users quantitatively evaluate the bond strength between a coating and its substrate, making it highly useful for quality control, field inspection, R&D, supplier approval, and coating application process validation.

In adhesion testing, PosiTest AT works by pulling a dolly that has been bonded to the coating surface until the coating separates from the substrate. The measured pull-off pressure indicates the adhesion strength of the coating to the substrate. With this method, users can evaluate whether failure occurs at the coating-substrate interface, between coating layers, or within the substrate material itself.

PosiTest AT is available in manual and automatic models to match different testing requirements. The instrument features a self-aligning aluminum dolly for more uniform pull force distribution, a weatherproof, dustproof, and shockproof IP65-rated enclosure, and 10 mm, 14 mm, 20 mm, and 50 mm dolly options for different bond strength ranges. This product supports test standards such as ASTM D4541, ASTM D7234, ISO 4624, ISO 16276-1, and other related standards.
