Mac I 23 Mm
BYK-mac i 23 mm
BYK-mac i 23 mm is a BYK-Gardner multi-angle spectrophotometer designed for measuring color and visual effects on metallic, pearlescent, and effect finishes. With a 23 mm measuring port, this instrument is suitable for color quality control on panels, automotive components, industrial coatings, plastics, and other surfaces that require objective and repeatable multi-angle color evaluation.
In metallic color and effect coating measurement, color can change depending on illumination and viewing angle. BYK-mac i 23 mm helps measure color travel, light-dark flop, sparkle, and graininess in one portable instrument. It supports color measurement at 15°, 25°, 45°, 75°, 110°, plus an additional -15° angle for color flop analysis on interference pigments.
BYK-mac i 23 mm is also designed to support stable quality control in both production and laboratory environments. Features such as 4 trigger pins for stable positioning, long-term calibration, stable measurement results within 10 - 40°C, and smart-chart software support more efficient analysis, documentation, and data management.
