VMA-Getzmann DISPERMAT® SL-C EX Bead Mill is an explosion-proof horizontal bead mill designed for fine grinding and particle dispersion in explosive areas up to Zone 0. This product is suitable for laboratory and pilot plant applications processing solvent-based formulations or industrial materials that require high safety standards. With a closed horizontal bead mill design, C [Comfort] control, high output, and extremely low dead volume, DISPERMAT® SL-C EX helps deliver stable, efficient, and reproducible milling performance.

DISPERMAT® SL-C EX bead mill is used to grind and disperse liquid and semi-solid materials such as coatings, paints, printing inks, pigment pastes, adhesives, sealants, chemicals, and slurry-based materials. This product features 1.1–4 kW power and 0.05–50 litre product volume, making it flexible for small batches, formulation research, quality control, and pilot plant processes. The horizontal milling chamber allows the product to be processed continuously through the chamber, both for single pass and re-circulation milling.

In industrial applications, DISPERMAT® SL-C EX helps improve particle fineness, color quality, dispersion stability, and batch consistency. After the dispersion process, the integrated air pressure system helps push the remaining mill base out of the milling chamber, enabling more complete material recovery. This feature is especially valuable for R&D and quality control laboratories that process small sample quantities while still requiring high yield and precise grinding results.
