BYK-Gardner Gardner Delta Color Comparator is an instrument for visual color measurement of transparent liquids using precision-polished optical glass filters as reference standards. The comparator consists of two wheels with nine precision-polished color filters embedded in each wheel. The glass filters range in color from water-white through deep amber, covering Gardner color values 1 through 18. A tube of the sample liquid is placed between the two filter wheels, and the user rotates the color wheels until the filter glass closest in color to the liquid is in place. That filter notation then becomes the color description for the liquid. PT Jaya Warindo Abadi is an authorized distributor of the Delta Color Comparator across Indonesia.
Key features: comparison of sample tube against 18 precision-polished optical glass filters; quick and easy color control of liquids; rugged design allows the comparator to be used at any location (laboratory or production); optional illuminator allows back-light color to improve viewing conditions. Two models available with illumination (Cat No. 6745 L 115V, Cat No. 6746 L 230V) or without illumination (Cat No. 6750).
