Color2view
Color2view is a BYK-Gardner benchtop spectrophotometer designed for precise color measurement in laboratory and quality control applications. This instrument helps users evaluate color objectively, repeatably, and consistently across various materials such as coatings, plastics, textiles, paper, packaging, printing, and finished products.
Color2view uses 45°c:0° color measurement geometry to measure color as the human eye sees it. This geometry is especially useful for directional, structured, glossy, and matte surfaces because the measurement result can better reflect visual perception. As a result, color matching, batch control, supplier approval, and final inspection can be supported with stronger measurement data.
In addition to color measurement, Color2view also includes 20° and 60° gloss measurement to differentiate medium to high gloss samples, as well as fluorescence measurement to evaluate the influence of fluorescence on long-term color stability. By combining color, gloss, and fluorescence measurement in one benchtop instrument, Color2view makes quality control more efficient, especially for companies requiring digital standards and consistent color management across the supply chain.
