VMA-Getzmann APS Bead Mill
The VMA-Getzmann APS bead mill is a bead mill system for laboratory and pilot plant applications, designed for dispersing and fine grinding in a closed system. With the APS milling system, a DISPERMAT® laboratory dissolver can be converted into a flexible, efficient, and easy-to-use closed batch bead mill for formulation development, quality control, and product testing.
The APS bead mill system can be mounted to a DISPERMAT® dissolver via the dissolver shaft or adapter flange, allowing one device to be used as both a dissolver and a bead mill. This technology supports safer milling, low energy consumption, simple handling, fast milling bead changeover, and easy cleaning. Standard, nano, ceramic, pressure, vacuum, and ATEX designs are available to meet different application requirements.
The APS bead mill has a product range of 0.08 - 3.5 litres and is available in several sizes, from APS 30 to APS 7000. This product is suitable for fine grinding pigments, coatings, inks, chemicals, cosmetics, ceramics, and other materials requiring fine, stable, and repeatable grinding results in laboratory or pilot plant scale.
