VMA-Getzmann TORUSMILL® TML Basket Mill
The VMA-Getzmann TORUSMILL® TML basket mill is a modular basket mill system for laboratory and pilot plant applications, designed to convert a DISPERMAT® dissolver into a highly efficient batch bead milling system. With its quick-change system concept, users can quickly replace the dissolver shaft with the basket mill accessory without using tools, allowing pre-dispersion and fine grinding processes to be performed on one flexible machine platform.
The TORUSMILL® TML operates based on the immersion basket mill principle, where grinding beads inside the basket are used to deliver stable, fast, and repeatable fine grinding results. The integral impeller pumping wheel helps activate the beads and circulate the millbase through the basket, while the double-walled milling basket supports efficient cooling. This system helps achieve strong product circulation, narrower particle size distribution, minimal dead areas, and consistent dispersion results.
The TORUSMILL® TML basket mill has a product range of 0.25 - 105 litres and is available in several sizes, including TML05, TML1, TML5, TML10, and TML50. This product is suitable for fine grinding pigments, coatings, inks, chemicals, cosmetics, ceramics, and other materials requiring fine milling from laboratory to pilot plant scale. For special application requirements, nano design, ceramic design, vacuum design, ATEX configuration, and combination with the ASC scraper system for high-viscosity products are available.
