Songwon Antioxidant Blends
Songwon Antioxidant Blends are polymer stabilizer products that combine primary antioxidants and secondary antioxidants in selected compositions to provide more balanced protection against oxidative degradation. These blends are designed to help maintain process stability, melt flow, colour protection, long-term heat stability, and material performance during compounding, extrusion, molding, and end-use applications.
In polymer formulations, antioxidant blends such as combinations of phenolic antioxidants and phosphite antioxidants provide synergistic performance. Primary antioxidants scavenge free radicals, while secondary antioxidants help decompose hydroperoxides. This combination helps strengthen protection against thermal oxidation, preserve material colour, and reduce the risk of physical property loss during processing.
SONGNOX 1162 is an antioxidant blend and stabilizer in a triple blend form containing SONGNOX PQ. It is suitable for polyolefin applications, especially BOPP, thin wall injection molding polypropylene, PP raffia, talc-filled PP, cast film LLDPE, and polyolefin elastomers that require processing stability, good initial colour, and colour protection during processing.
SONGNOX 117B is an antioxidant blend combining phosphite and phenolic antioxidants. It helps provide long-term heat stability, melt flow protection, and colour protection during polyolefin processing, and is also compatible with polycarbonate, ABS, and polyesters.
SONGNOX 11B is a binary antioxidant blend composed of SONGNOX 1010 and SONGNOX 1680 in a 1:1 ratio. It provides a good balance of processing stability, colour protection, and long-term thermal stability, and is suitable for polyolefins and selected engineering plastics.
SONGNOX 147B is an antioxidant blend combining SONGNOX 1680 and SONGNOX 1076 in a 1:4 ratio. It supports melt flow protection, colour protection, and long-term heat stability in polymer applications requiring oxidative protection during processing and end use.

SONGNOX 311B is an antioxidant blend composed of SONGNOX 3114 and SONGNOX 1680 in a 1:1 ratio. It helps provide melt flow protection, colour protection, long-term heat stability, and gas fade resistance in polyolefins.
SONGNOX 317B is an antioxidant blend combining SONGNOX 1680 and SONGNOX 1076 in a 3:1 ratio. It is suitable for formulations requiring stronger process protection through a higher secondary phosphite antioxidant ratio while maintaining free radical protection from the phenolic antioxidant.
SONGNOX 31B is an antioxidant blend composed of SONGNOX 1010 and SONGNOX 1680 in a 1:3 ratio. It is suitable for polyolefin and plastic applications requiring a balance of colour protection, melt flow stability, and process stability during thermal processing.
