For paints & coatings, Eastman provides Texanol™ ester alcohol (premier coalescent for latex paints, non-VOC, LVP-VOC), Optifilm™ enhancers 300 & 400 (low-odor coalescents), EEP solvent (slow-evaporating ether-ester for high-solids coatings), IBIB (economical retarder solvent for nitrocellulose lacquers and plastic coatings), MAK and MIAK (slow/medium-evaporating non-HAP solvents for high-solids coatings), and Advantex™ DM (neutralizing amine additive for low-odor paints).

For automotive coatings, Eastman offers Advantis™ 730-1 20A adhesion promoter — designed as the active component in primers to ensure excellent adhesion to polypropylene (PP) and thermoplastic olefin (TPO) plastics, with outstanding gasoline, gasohol, and humidity resistance for auto OEM and refinish applications.

For inkjet printing inks, Eastman™ MPK (Methyl n-Propyl Ketone) is a medium-evaporating, urethane-grade solvent with excellent solvency for synthetic resins. It meets Aerospace NESHAP compliance and is also ideal for gravure printing inks and cleaning applications.
